Fig clafoutis

Ingredients

Amount: Serves 4

Fig Clafoutis:

6 fresh, ripe figs

2 eggs, medium

75 g sugar

175 ml milk

3 tbsp Vodka

60 g flour

1 pinch of salt

1 pinch of cloves

1 tbsp icing sugar for dusting

3 tbsp flaked almonds

4 scoops of vanilla ice cream

Kitchen utensils

4 x 12 cm ovenproof dishes, 3 cm high

Description

Classic clafoutis enriched with vodka

Step 1/6

Pre-heat the oven to 175 °C (conventional oven) or 150 °C (fan).

Carry out the manually on your appliance.

Preheat top bottom heating 175 °C or hotaiir 150 °C.

Step 2/6

Thoroughly grease the dishes with the butter and lightly sprinkle with sugar. Wash the figs, wipe them dry and halve them.

Step 3/6

In a bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, milk, vodka and flour with the salt and clove to create a smooth batter. Distribute the batter evenly between the dishes. Carefully place 3-4 fig halves per dish in the batter with the cut surface facing upwards.

Step 4/6

Bake the clafoutis in the oven for approx. 30 minutes until the batter has risen and is golden brown. Do not open the oven while the clafoutis is cooking as the batter will sink.

Carry out manually on your appliances. Top bottom heating 175 °C 30 minutes.

Step 5/6

Toast the almonds in a dry frying pan until golden brown.

Step 6/6

The clafoutis can be served hot or cold. Before serving, dust with icing sugar, sprinkles the flaked almonds on top and serve the a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
